Real people shown in archive footage[]
- Notes about this list
- The "season" field in this table indicates when a person was seen visually. This can be in archive footage or just in a photograph.
- The "first/last" field however represents the first or last time the person was seen, or mentioned, or referred.
For example, Richard Nixon was only in season 1, but he was mentioned in every other season. Hence, his "last" data states episode 4x03 while season says "One". - Note that bonus videos always count towards the next following season. So for example the bonus video of 1984 is considered as "season 3".
- Images on the left are screenshots from the show. Those on the right side are not.
- The images on the right were chosen to correspond to the era of appearance, if possible.

Notes[]
- ↑ There is a production error in the article shown at the beginning of episode 3x01 about the victory of Arnoldo Martínez Verdugo in Mexico. The newspaper shown is dated with April 17, 1986, however, 1986 wasn't an election year in Mexico. In the Apple TV+ Bonus Videos covering the years 1984-1992, the election is covered correctly in the year 1988.
