Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin make their mark on the moon.png

The Moon is an astronomical body that orbits Earth and a permanent natural satellite. The Soviet Union and United States of America had a space race to the moon. While the Americans were close with Apollo 10, in a surprise twist the Soviet cosmonaut, Alexei Leonov, was the first man to set foot on the Moon.

About a month after Leonov's mission, Apollo 11 landed America's first astronauts on the moon, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.

As of the end of Season 2, the Moon is home to the American base Jamestown, and the Soviet base Zvezda.
