Liquid hydrogen (LH2 or LH2) is the liquid state of the element hydrogen.
Hydrogen (H) is the lightest element and normally exists as a gas of diatomic molecules (H2). To be liquid, H2 must be cooled below 33 K, or to 20.28 K (−252.87 °C) to be fully liquid unter atmosheric pressure.
Usage[]
In rocketry applications, LH2 is used as liquid rocket fuel.
