Jean Williamson was the public relations officer of NASA at the Johnson Space Center in 1994.[1]
History[]
In 1994, during the Race to Mars, Williamson received President Ellen Wilson when she was visiting the JSC in Houston
. She escorted the president and first gentleman Larry Wilson through the space center and styed in the background during her speech in Mission Control.[2]
Later, after the cosmonauts of the Soviet spacecraft Mars-94 had to be rescued by the Sojourner crew, she was also present to welcome the Roscosmos delegation at the JSC, together with NASA director Margo Madison.[3]
