Jamestown Rocket Testing Site is a NASA facility on the Moon. It is a part of the ever growing US lunar outpost Jamestown and located nearby. Its purpose is to test horizontally mounted rocket engines for interplanetary space flight.
History[]
In July 1992, NASA was testing its K-32 NERVA for their planned 1996 Mars mission on this facility.[1]
