Harrison "Harry" Liu is a character featured on For All Mankind. Liu was the first Asian American astronaut of NASA and Lunar module pilot of Apollo 19 and Apollo 24.
Liu was incinerated by the S-IVB of Apollo 24 when its J-2 engine ignited unexpectedly while he was performing an EVA to repair the stage. He is the first of only two astronauts known to have died in space, along with his commander Deke Slayton.
