TemplateStyles
On July 26 2024, Fandom activated the MediaWiki TemplateStylesMW extension. Since then, lots of CSS styles that are only used on one or very few pages, or by a certain template, have been moved to subpages of these pages or templates.
We have set up a help page for this (currently still under construction), a template to put on templates, documentations, and other pages using TemplateStyles, a CSS sandbox to test CSS styles compatible with that extension, and a bunch of new tracking categories.
Both pages using TemplateStyles as well as the CSS files are tracked, they can be found in the categories pages using TemplateStyles and CSS files, and their subcategories.
New help pages
A couple of new For All Mankind Wiki related help pages have been created, mainly about the use of CSS and classes.

Space missions redesign
The space missions article underwent a major redesign, completely set up the first two tables of that page from scratch, using table-row templates.
The article is still missing the season 4 missions though.
New major article: Real world characters
Between end of April and mid May, a new major article was added covering all real world characters seen or mentioned in the show. It quickly became a much bigger task than initially assumed, currently covering 159 characters in 3 different tables, and is the 3rd longest page and the page with the most redirects to it (139), followed by the Glossary (118) and the timeline article (70).
There is still much work to do as many listed characters are missing a short detail summary.
Timeline redesign
Our Timeline article is an important and very often visited page. It went through a major redesign in April 2024 to make the display more tidy and clean.
The article uses now the CSS flexbox system to display a somehow tabular design. Entries are generated through a template now. Also the top parts of the page have been moved to a transcluded subpage to clean up the code of the page even more.
Editors are supposed to read the article's editing notes for how the new system works, and how things on that article should be done.
Tabbed layout for article galleries
All articles with a gallery subpage use a tabbed layout now, linking the gallery prominently on top of the page.
This is used on all episode articles, all bonus video articles, all character pages with a gallery, some politician articles, and on the behind the scenes article.
New major article: Behind the scenes
In mid February, a new major page was set up, covering all kind of behind the scenes videos, footage and images.
The project included adding hundreds of pictures and videos from social media and other sources, the creation of a new file-info template for BTS images, categorizing these images into about 50 different new categories, collecting them depending on season and episode.
The page includes an image gallery for every season.
Update 14 June 2024: The BTS season galleries of the article now also include concept art.
Transcript & Tunefind links
All episode articles have now an external link section which contains links to Tunefind and an external transcript page.
Episode galleries
On December 4, gallery subpages were added to all episode articles. The galleries are linked in the navigation section of the infobox.
Update 1 Apr. 2024: On April 1, all pages with gallery subpages received a tabbed layout, presenting the gallery link prominently on top of the page and make switching between article and gallery very easy. The season premieres also include a second gallery with screenshots from the press review at the beginning of each new season.
Update 11 June 2024: As of June 11, all episode image galleries now also show a behind the scene gallery (if there are BTS images for that episode).
Themed series infoboxes
The infoboxes of the season and episode articles use now themed colors depending on the season, using the color scheme that season had.
Bonus video articles
Articles for the Apple TV+ bonus videos bridging the seasons have been added to the wiki. Each bonus video series has its own article covering all the videos of that series. There is still a lot of missing details for the individual episodes though.
Update 5 Dec. 2023: All bonus video articles have no its own image gallery subpage.

Character galleries
Main and important side characters have now their own gallery page. This became possible thanks to the new character tagging system developed as part of the file info page project started in August. The system populates the character image categories needed for this. The activation of the DynamicPageList3 extensionMW for our wiki then made the creation of individual gallery subpages possible.
The galleries are linked in the character's infobox, or can be found through the category Character galleries.

FAM wiki set of rules
Our wiki has now a complete set of rules for how things should go. We kept them mostly basic and not too restrictive. The most important rules regarding editing are the Manual of Style and our Image Policy, which also includes our file naming convention.

Project: File info page
A big new project was started regarding file info pagesF. This included updating all copyright & licensing templates and create some new ones, correctly licensing over 3000 files that were missing any license information, create a file information template to add basic infos to the file page, a bunch of specific templates for common file types, and many more sub- and helper templates.
Side-projects included file tracking categories by different criteria, an image tracking page, and a statistics page.
Another big side-project became the implementation of a character tagging system on images, which lead to character image categories.
The goal is to finish this huge project before the new season is released.
Page Status Indicators
Page status indicators (PSI) have been implemented to the For All Mankind Wiki. PSIs are the small icons you see in the top right corner of articles. They are meant to give readers a quick overview what season and timeframe, and/or topic an article covers. The system has been added to all most common infoboxes, where they can be defined for the page with parameters. For some article-types, like characters, actors/crew, and episodes, they are added automatically from the infobox data. Finally, they can also be added manually in articles if needed.
There is a project page introducing the whole system, as well as a fully fleshed out documentation of the template(s) being used. There is also a manual for how to use infobox parameters to add them on all infobox documentations.
Thanks extension
The new "Thanks" extension has been enabled on our wiki. It allows users to thank other users for edits they made. The thank option can be found on all pages that display edit revision details, like recent changes, page histories, or a user's contribution page.
If you thank a user, that user will get a notification about it.

Preload templates
We have now some preload templates for some of the most often used article-types. When creating a new page, a preload template can prepare the article with the common structure and insert the correct infobox and other templates needed for that article-type, make it all ready to be filled. Preload templates exist for the following article-tyles: Character, Actor, Crew, Episode. You can start a new article with a preload template by using this link. There is also a link to that page on top of the edit window if you make a new page, given you use the source editor.
Sandboxes
The For All Mankind Wiki has now a sandbox you can use to test your stuff. The wiki's sandbox can be found here. You can also install your own personaly sandbox under your username by just clicking here.
Jazz up your profile page!
Userboxes:
Jazz up your profile page and have fun with our userboxes. There is a range of different boxes, some of which are even space-related, ready to put on your profile. Or design your own and store it in the Userbox custom. You can use this template to group and arrange them however you like.
Infobox:
We also have a user infobox especially designed for your profile page, where you can tell your visitors whatever you want to reveal about yourself.
Images:
If you want to upload images not related to the show to be used only on your profile page, you are allowed to do so as long as it's only a few. Be sure to put them into the category User images.
Milestone: All character & actor pages done
As of today, all characters and actors have their own article or an entry in one of the minor character articles. No redlinks anymore in those cast tables of the episodes. However, there is still plenty to do while waiting for season 4. Many main characters are still missing their season 3 story, and most season 3 episodes still miss the plot section. Help us fill the gaps and be prepared for the new season!

Appearance galleries
We voted to include appearance navigation galleries on episode articles. A navigation gallery is an image gallery where the images link to another articles. We use this as gallery of appearances for Events & Missions, Vessels & Vehicles, and Stations & Locations. See the structure for episodes tab in our MoS for how this should be done, and older episodes for examples.
Update 6 Oct. 2023: There is now a template for this.
Manual of Style
Our Manual of Style is set up, giving you some general guidelines for how pages in the For All Mankind Wiki should be created and maintained. Make sure to read them if you haven't already. Please also learn about our new image naming policy. Beside the MoS, we also have an article introducing our most commonly used templates, which is a good starting point if looking for the right template for your new article.
