Cata

Cata was a Mexican immigrant living in Houston, where she offered housing to other immigrants.

History[]

When Octavio Rosales immigrated to the United States and moved to Houston with his daughter Aleida in summer 1969, they were living in Cata's appartment, together with other Mexican immigrants.[1] Other people living in the house were Gabriel and Livi.[2]

After Octavio was arrested by FBI agent Gavin Donahue over suspicion of Soviet espionage in December 1974, Cata's home was searched and seized by the Department of Justice. When Aleida retured there, the door was sealed and all former residents, including Cata, had disappeared. It is unknown what exactly happened to them.[2]
