Carl Cartwright is an astronaut with NASA who served at the lunar base Jamestown in 1983.
History[]
Cartwright came to Jamestown as part of mission 83, together with Molly Cobb. He was at the base during the massive solar storm on May 21, 1983.[1]
Carl was part of the geological team "GEO-2" and was supposed to examine the newly claimed mining site 357/Bravo, but upon arrival he found out that the site had been occupied by Soviet cosmonauts.[2] [note 1]

- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 Cartwright's actor is credited for episodes 2x01 and 2x03 but the character's face was only seen in 2x01. However, there is a high probability that he was one of the two astronauts finding out that 357/Bravo was taken by the Soviets in 2x03. The astronaut seen in this scene had a speaking role and was wearing the correct mission patch. However, it is not 100% confirmed to be him.
