Notes[]
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 Senator Robert Money:
The name of this person is only mentioned once in the news review of episode 2x01 @ 1:55:
In a surprisingly close race, President Reagan appears to have won a second term by defeating Senator Robert Money.
There is no real politician by that name, nothing is known about him, and he was never mentioned again.
Behind the scenes[]
In the real world, the 1980 US elections were between Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter, with John B. Anderson as a third independent candidate. Reagan defeated the incumbent president in a landslide victory.
